 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services or related field, with a minimum of one-year experience in working with administration, supervision, program planning, communication, public speaking, and direct service delivery.  Possess knowledge of family violence, child abuse, and the dynamics involved.  Must have excellent communication and public relation skills.  Ability to interact with a variety of people.  Must be self-motivated.  

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION:

The Executive Director is responsible to the Board of Directors and is evaluated annually by the Personnel Committee.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A.PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION

•Office management

•Grant-writing

•Monthly statistics and reports

•Payroll and Accounting oversight

B.SUPERVISION OF THE AGENCY PERSONNEL

•Responsible for supervision of all Center personnel (paid, volunteer).

•Complete reviews as scheduled with personnel committee.

•Responsible for staff development and growth through on-going training and support.

•Coordinate recognition and events for staff and volunteers.

C.COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND AWARENESS

•Coordinate annual public relations campaign with marketing agency.

•Planning, organizing and presenting information to agencies and/or community groups as requested.

•Maintaining close working relationship with community agencies, Exchange Clubs, and National Exchange Club Foundation for Prevention of Child Abuse.

•Annual report and Communications.

D.POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

•Have knowledge of, interpret and communicate policy guidelines and service delivery standards as required by the National Exchange Club Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse and the Board of Directors of the Exchange Club Center for Family Unity.

E.BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES

•Prepare operating budget for each fiscal year with the finance committee.

•Operate program within constraints of budget.

•Manage grant requirements for funding.

F.MEETINGS

•Weekly staff meeting.

•Board committees as requested.

•Monthly Board meetings.

•Exchange Club Meetings – one membership required within service area.

•Other networking meetings as recommended.
